How Juice Plus+ Is Made

Allow me to reassure you that every effort is made throughout the entire Juice Plus+ manufacturing process to ensure a safe and effective quality product. In summary, our comprehensive quality assurance program includes the following:

All fruits and vegetables used in Juice Plus+ are grown under the strictest USDA guidelines. To ensure highest quality, well-matured fruits and vegetables are always selected for Juice Plus+. Most come from the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Florida and Massachusetts. Any produce not grown in these areas from our list of well established growers is tested extensively to insure compliance with our requirements.

All fruits and vegetables are chilled, hand sorted, and carefully washed with an oxidizing solution to kill yeast, mold and bacteria that are always refrigerated juicing machine. This step is also important because any pesticide or herbicide residues, should they be present, will be removed by the oxidizing solution. The oxidizing solution is rinsed off prior to juicing. All Juice Plus products are free of pesticides and herbicides.

During the proprietary water removal process, low temperatures and an oxygen free atmosphere are maintained during the entire process. The finished powder is tested for moisture content, bacteria, yeast, and mold. Any batch not meeting specific safety criteria is rejected.

The final stage involves blending and encapsulation. Before this point, the product must meet our stringent requirements for vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

Before final release, the data on each batch which includes all manufacturing records, raw material certificates of analysis, origination documents and laboratory analyses are carefully reviewed to insure a product that is safe, efficacious and meets all Quality Assurance standards. These comprehensive records are audited both electronically and manually.

Juice Plus+ Capsules, Chewables, Thins, Complete and JP Gummies are gluten free and dairy free. The Capsules are sugar free. The Chewables, Thins and Complete contain a small quantity of fructose (fruit sugar) for texture and flavor enhancement. Six Gummies contain five grams of mixed sugars to enhance taste and stability.

We do not list the individual vitamins, minerals because Juice Plus+ is a balanced food supplement containing the vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals found in fresh ripe fruits and vegetables. Because Juice Plus+ is a totally natural and balanced product, it cannot be compared to vitamin pills that are always fragmented and contain a very limited number of vitamins in totally artificial ratios (i.e. fragmented!).

The bioavailability of Juice Plus+ is clearly demonstrated in the study published in Current Therapeutic Research; the decrease in DNA damage in The Juice Plus+ DNA Study; and improvement in immune function in The Juice Plus+ Immune Study. Copies of all three peer reviewed articles are available upon request or you may find them on our web site. Juice Plus+ nutritional products do not contain anything herbal, synthetic or controversial.
